We will board the Expedition train, we will travel by train for one hour and 45 minutes to Km 104 (Start of our hike.) At Km 104 after presenting passports at the control, we begin to walk gently a few meters from the Vilcanota River. Starting the trail we will see the ruins of Chachabamba, an in-situ stone altar that served to worship the sun and the mountains, still venerated by the local people. After visiting Chachabamba, we will continue the trail to the south and begin a gradual climb up the mountain, before entering a cloud forest with lots of vegetation, then the trail exits the forest and goes west, while we continue uphill in an open meadow. After walking for 3 hours, the trail descends into an amazing forest. Here we will find a beautiful waterfall, then we will reach the lower part of the Wi\u00f1aywayna ruins. We will appreciate the beauty of this place, complemented by information from our expert guide.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53b0cd5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"53b0cd5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>After lunch in Wi\u00f1aywayna, we will continue in the afternoon into the cloud forest, filled with bromeliads, orchids, and fern trees. As we walk this last part of the trail, we will pass many impressive features such as stone stairs and tambos (\u201cresting places\u201d). You will climb 60 stairs before reaching Inti Punku (\u201cthe sun gate\u201d). From this point, you can gaze and observe this wonderful place.
