Sun, was one of the most sacred and respected buildings of the Inca Empire. People from all over the Empire came to the place to worship and pay tribute to their gods, but the interior of the enclosure was reserved for the most important personalities of the time. Due to its importance, the Coricancha was built with stones finely joined together with impressive precision that gives it a sober aesthetic.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a33d845 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a33d845\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Inside, the walls of the various enclosures were covered with sheets of gold and silver. We will continue outside the city to visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Sacsayhuam\u00e1n Fortress, famous for its enormous stones carved and assembled with astonishing precision. Due to its importance, the Coricancha was built with stones finely joined together with impressive precision that gives it a sober aesthetic.
